EB Uncut is our event series built on the idea of doing things differently—by sharing the good, the bad, and the downright messy sides of employer branding. It’s a safe space for honest conversations, not just about what works, but about what doesn’t. We dive into the challenges, the behind-the-scenes realities, and the lessons learned when things don’t go as planned. It’s “show and chat” rather than “show and tell.”
These events are all about flipping the script. They’re designed to bring the employer branding community together through real collaboration—not competition. It’s a space where agencies join forces as partners, not sponsors. No sales pitches, no hidden agendas—just open sharing of insights, experiences, and learning.
EB Uncut includes two unique event formats: Unfiltered Sessions and The Unconference.
The Unconference is a full-day, off-site experience designed to push boundaries and rethink how we connect and share in the employer branding space. It’s a safe, collaborative environment for honest dialogue, featuring interactive panel sessions and plenty of time for networking. No fluff—just bold ideas, open conversations, and real community.
Unfiltered sessions are intimate, interactive networking events. They come in two formats: dinners or breakfast panel discussions. These sessions are built around thought-provoking topics designed to spark meaningful conversation and encourage everyone to participate. Each session is hosted by The EB Space and a partner, featuring new speakers every time to keep the energy fresh and the ideas flowing.

That’s why we believe in valuing our panellists’ time by offering a £250 honorarium for their contribution. It’s not a huge amount—we’re a small, community-driven initiative, and every bit of income goes straight back into supporting and growing this space. We also understand that not everyone will want to accept the fee. If that’s the case, we’ll use it to sponsor another employer brander to attend the event. Because that’s what community is all about—lifting each other up and paying it forward.
Let’s be real—being out of work is tough. And even when events offer free tickets, things like travel and food still add up.
That’s why we’re covering the full cost—ticket, travel, and sustenance—for at least 10 people who are currently out of work. The only catch? You need to be UK-based (for now!). We’d love to open it up internationally one day, but we’re not quite there yet.
Our community is packed with amazing voices—but let’s be honest, it’s usually the loudest ones who grab the mic.
We think it’s time to mix that up. That’s why every panel we run will include at least one speaker from the community—and yes, you can totally nominate yourself (go on, don’t be shy!). To keep things fair, our event partner will

And because we love a bit of variety, each event will have a fresh line-up. New faces, new voices, new perspectives —every time.
Our events are all about collaboration, connection, and creating opportunities.
That’s why we team up with podcast partners to help bring your voices to life—on and off the stage. We’ll also build in plenty of breaks throughout the day, giving you loads of chances to chat, network, or just grab a coffee and recharge.

And because we get that work doesn’t always stop (and full-on days can be a lot), there’ll be quiet spaces where you can take a breather, catch up on emails, or just do your thing in peace.
