We want to ensure our community is a safe space for our members to connect and share. That's why we have Our Community Code which we expect our members to follow. Anyone not following these will be removed from the group.
Our general principle of the community is to keep it confident, respectful and safe. Chatham House rules apply which means whilst you are part of the community, you can't reveal where information comes from. This enables us to have open and honest discussions. We ask that everyone respects each other’s privacy, and property that they share.
Treat others how they treat you. That means we don't tolerate discrimination of any kind. It's an environment where everyone is equal, so we do not expect any xenophobia, harrassment, discrimination, sexism, or any kind of prejudice due to any other preference.
Everyone has a voice in this group. Engage to provide insight and knowledge. Not everyone has the same level of experience so be kind. No question is a stupid question.
There should be no spamming or any unsolicited DMs. If this is happening, please report this to our admins via hello@theebspace.com.
From time to time we may ask for examples of other people's work, and its great to share. However - don't blindly copy other's work or use this as your own. It's part of our Chatham House rule but also we want to call this out.
There will be people discussing sensitive issues, perhaps with others you might know. This is designed to be a safe space for open discussion so everything in the community stays in the community.
If a member notices that our rules are not being followed, please report to the admins hello@theebspace.com and appropriate action will be taken. Depending on the severity of the report, the first issue against a person will result in a warning. A second issue being given will result in the member being removed from the community.
